How "Mainstream" are you?

At Last.fm, they will keep track of what you listen to and tell you what your most listened to artists are and recommend other music based on what other people listen to and tags that people put on the music. Anyway, the point is, there was a thing there where people where calculating how mainstream they are. The calculation method goes like this: Take the average number of listeners for each of your top 10 listened to artists (or favorite if you're not a participating member) and divide that number by the number of Radiohead fans. (I guess at the time, Radiohead had the most listeners...?) Here is my calculation.

My top ten artists.
Marlo's mix (a mixed album that Marlo made for me) - 1 (that's me)
BNL - 82627
mike doughty - 10513
Guster - 41542
TMBG - 44285
Wir Sind Helden - 30509
30 seconds to mars - 31336
Red Hot Chili Peppers - 293005
The Features - 7862
Outkast - 160059

Total - 701739
Average - 70173.9

Radiohead - 323179

How Mainstream am I? - 21.7%

I was lost, so as a hint, the way to find out how many listeners there are for your top artists (or your favorite ten, if you're not a member), is easy. On the homepage: http://www.last.fm, just type into the search bar your top artist. Next to the name of the artist, it shows the number of fans. Record this number for each of your ten artists, then carry out the above-described grade school algebra and figure out how mainstream you are.

Everyone should use the radiohead as a reference, but I'd just like to point out that the number should probably be compared against the average of the top ten artists overall. Unfortunately, I have not found a way to find the top ten artists of all time. (I have found a way to get the weekly top artist, but that's not the same.)

I was very surprised to see Muse, a band that I started listening to about 3 years ago, in that top ten weekly artists list at number 5. I never, ever would have expected that.

Here's the weekly top ten from last.fm:
1. Red Hot Chili Peppers - 47779
2. Radiohead - 43769
3. The Beatles - 42413
4. Coldplay - 40369
5. Muse - 34854
6. Death Cab For Cutie - 33403
7. Pink Floyd - 32716
8. Green Day - 32673
9. System of a Down - 30787
10. Nirvana - 30162
