Womit
The last couple weeks, I have felt sick with worry. The worst part is that it is worry over the stupidest of things. I wish I felt the confidence here that I felt when I was finishing up at Rose. Building myself up in new territory, I guess. It's always been a good feeling once I finally achieve that comfidence level.
Enough wagueness. There are several things going on lately that have been stressing me out. Actually, I think it's just two, maybe three, but they are pretty much my entire life lately. I'm stressed about work. I was told there is a chance I will not get a job after the trainee pool ends and that really frustrates me because I want to stay in Germany for a while longer. Work itself has been really stressful as we finish up all of our assignments and get ready to present them to top management. I have been really stressed about my personal life as well, both because I don't seem to have any time for what I enjoy (Photography) and because of personal social reasons.
On a plus side, I and two of my colleagues established ourselves as regulars at a local bar. When we left last night, the bartender said 'Bis nächste Woche' which means 'until next week.' It feels good to be a regular.
It's been cold as crap lately...still! Stu told me that it is 70F in St. Louis. The high this week is 0C. 0C is less than 70F for those of you not good with temperature conversions.
Peace out, and Happy Lent.
