So what you're saying is that tires discharge static electricity? There is a risk from static electricity after getting out of a car to pump gas. I don't see what that has to do with the tires though. Maybe when you get out of the car to pump the gas you go over and touch the tires, discharging any static electricity that may have built up. ??? -dave
 

Actually, what I mean is, if you were to measure the resistance between a metal plate which the tire sits on and the rim that the tire is mounted on, the resistance would be zero. The tires are made of rubber and they conduct electricity from the rim to the ground. It's badass, I'll explain further later.
 

Hey, I hope everything is all and well with you in Germany. I just said goodbye to three guys from Germany I've been working with the past couple of weeks. Their names were Klaus, Frank, and Jens. They have me really wanting to visit Germany now! I wanted to before, but hearing their stories, mainly consisting of beer, I'm even more eager to go there! They kept asking me to come over to Germany and study power plants...haha. I soooooo would! :) Any ways, I just wanted to say hi! Have a great summer! Good luck with the job!
